Shelby holds a deep passion for perinatal mental health, providing heartfelt support to those experiencing pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility challenges. She understands the complex emotional landscape of this season and is committed to creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel truly heard, supported, and empowered. Whether you're adjusting to life after birth, riding the emotional waves of pregnancy, or facing fertility struggles, Shelby is here to help you find resilience, healing, and hope.
Using a client-centered approach, Shelby tailors therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As a certified EMDR therapist, she specializes in helping clients work through trauma, guiding them toward lasting healing and emotional freedom.
Shelby is skilled in and holds special certifications in the following areas:
Perinatal / Women’s Health & Parenting
Shelby has extensive training and certifications in Perinatal Mental Health and is deeply passionate about supporting individuals and couples through the journey of pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility. Having walked alongside many during this transformative time, Shelby understands how challenging and overwhelming the perinatal period can be.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Shelby is certified in EMDR therapy, designed to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. By guiding clients through structured eye movements or other bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps reduce the intensity of distressing memories and supports the brain in creating healthier ways of thinking and coping.
Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending quality time with her family, finding peace through paddleboarding, exploring new cultures through travel, and recharging her mind and body through yoga. Her vibrant and grounded approach to life is reflected in the care she offers her clients — creating a therapy experience rooted in connection, authenticity, and growth.
