Life can sometimes feel like you’re just reacting—responding to past experiences, ongoing stress, or the expectations of others. If you’re feeling stuck in these patterns, you’re not alone—and meaningful change is possible with the right support.

Wesley is a compassionate, solution-focused therapist who provides anxiety therapy, depression counseling, and trauma-informed care for teens and adults across Colorado. He works with individuals navigating PTSD, chronic stress, anger, addiction and substance use, and neurodivergence, offering a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to move from “just getting by” to living with greater intention and clarity. He also has a strong passion for supporting veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and justice-involved individuals.

Wesley’s approach is grounded in the belief that you already carry the capacity for healing within you—even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), he gently helps you understand how your past experiences may be shaping your present, while also equipping you with practical tools to create meaningful change. His work integrates mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and the mind-body connection so you can feel more steady, safe, and in control.

Therapy with Wesley is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, you’ll explore not only the “why” behind your experiences, but also develop real-life strategies to manage anxiety, process trauma, and navigate challenges with more confidence and ease. Whether you’re seeking support for PTSD, anxiety, or a difficult life transition, Wesley offers both clinical expertise and genuine care.

Areas of Specialized Training and Experience:

Addiction Counseling

Wesley supports clients in navigating recovery through a compassionate, individualized approach grounded in evidence-based care. He integrates a range of therapeutic methods to help clients build practical coping skills, gain insight into patterns of substance use, and explore the personal meaning behind their experiences. His work balances structured skill-building with space for reflection and growth, empowering clients to move toward lasting recovery and a more fulfilling life.

Trauma Therapy

Wesley takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach that helps clients safely process difficult experiences, reduce symptoms, and regain a sense of control. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), he supports clients in understanding the impact of trauma, building effective coping skills, and restoring balance in both mind and body.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Wesley teaches clients how to build practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and reducing harmful coping patterns. His approach is supportive and nonjudgmental, helping clients develop balance, resilience, and greater emotional control in their daily lives.

CBT therapy

Wesley is also a CBT trained therapist. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) teaches you practical skills to understand and change the patterns that keep you stuck—especially the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He will teach you how to spot unhelpful thinking patterns, how to challenge and reframe thoughts, how to regulate emotions and how to change behaviors that maintain symptoms. CBT is a structured and goal-focused modality, with practice between sessions so you see changes in real life.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Wesley uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients build on their existing strengths and move toward meaningful, achievable goals. Rather than focusing on problems or the past, he works collaboratively with clients to identify what’s already working in their lives and how to expand on those successes. Together, you will clarify desired outcomes, explore practical solutions, and take small, purposeful steps toward lasting change—often in a relatively short period of time.

Outside of the therapy room, Wesley enjoys spending time with his wife of 11 years, their two cats, and loved ones. He finds inspiration in creative and artistic pursuits, enjoys the outdoors, and is an avid golfer. Having lived in Florida, Pennsylvania, and now over a decade in Colorado, Wesley brings a broad perspective and openness that helps clients feel at ease and understood.
